This week to show support for other children in The Ukraine, Great Bardfield Primary pupils made yellow and blue sunflowers. We wrote a message for peace on the back and have put them on our front fence to encourage everyone to think of the people there and what they are going through.
We have had a connection with a children’s medical centre in Chernihiv, in The Ukraine for over 25 Years. Each year our pupils make up Smile Boxes to send to the children and their families. We have been so sad to hear that there is a war going on and we have been thinking about our friends in Chernihiv. Our kind parents and carers donated lots of things to send to the people and we have also raised £330 through a non-uniform day and a cake sale.
