Through our membership of the Uttlesford School Sports Partnership, our children have the opportunity to take part in many competitive and skills based events throughout the year.
This term, our Key Stage Two children have attended Football tournaments and festivals, Dodgeball Competitions, Tag Rugby matches and a Cross Country event. Some of our younger children have taken part in Teddy Bear Runs and an Inclusion Panathlon this term. These sporting events outside school not only enhance the children’s physical health and well-being but help to develop key skills such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience in a competitive yet supportive environment.
Attendance at these events boosts confidence and social skills, allowing children to interact with peers from different backgrounds and experience the excitement of representing their school. We hope that this participation in external sports will foster a lifelong appreciation for physical activity, encouraging healthy habits and personal growth beyond the classroom.
