Welcome to Great Bardfield Primary School

We are very proud of our friendly, lively, and successful village school. Our aim is to provide a child centred curriculum with lots of opportunities to have fun, be active and creative whilst being encouraged and spurred forwards by a wonderful team of experienced teachers and support staff. We know our children very well and tailor our curriculum to their needs and abilities so that everyone is encouraged to reach their individual goals and targets and to make progress. Children aspire to do their very best and to aim for the rewards and praise that are a fundamental part of school life at Great Bardfield.

In January 2017, Ofsted recognised that Great Bardfield is a good school and a link to our Ofsted Report is available in our web links section.

This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and children. The photographs in our Gallery Page show some of the events that the children have taken part in recently. We offer some amazing after school and before school sports clubs and other after school clubs to give children lots of opportunities to enrich their learning and build important life skills.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find any information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have.

Thank you for visiting.
