All about Bawden Class

Bawden Class is a lively and creative place to learn and play! We have a bright classroom and outdoor area where we can explore and lead our own learning. Some of our favourite spaces are the enquiry area, the construction area, and the creative area, where we can make, build, and discover new ideas.

We love PE, being outside, and reading, enjoying the chance to explore stories, ideas, and new worlds through books.

Our class is named after Edward Bawden, a famous artist from Great Bardfield. He created wonderful paintings, prints, and illustrations, helping to make our village known for its art. His imagination and creativity inspire us to explore our own ideas, be curious, and enjoy being creative every day!
