On the 22nd March Unicorns, Pixies and Dragons all went on a visit to Hatfield Forest. They were looking for mini beasts and at the different habitats of the animals who lived there.
As part of our work in Maths we looked at the value of Zero through the use of story. We read the book Zero by Kathryn Otoshi about the importance of Zero and how he comes to find his importance with the other numbers.
This year we focused on the importance of poppies as a symbol of remembrance. We marked Remembrance Day with an special assembly and Year 5 and 6 visited the memorial in the village.
This year we collected 121 Smile Boxes. Well done to everyone! These will go to needy families in The Ukraine. We were delighted to be joined once again by George Mills who does so much good work for this cause.
